CPU Benchmarking Competition does not collect any sensitive data from the user, the only networking call that is not required has to do with the application's API, if you select Play Offline when you launch the application, there wont be sent any network request.

API: application information stored on a website, the application uses a secured connection in order to get data from a server, which is used for example, to check if the version of the installed application is outdated, and a new version has been released.

CPU Benchmarking Competition does ask for Google Play Games when the application get's launched, but the activation of the service is not required, if the user wants to compete globally or with friends, accepting to activate Google Play Games will mean that the score of the user will get shared with other people.
